XPOSURE INTERNATIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY FESTIVAL 2023 in Sharjah is here!

I will be there. Let’s Meet!

9th - 15th February 2023

Photography exhibitions. Legendary, world-renowned photographers. Industry experts. Presentations. Film screenings. Workshops. Book signings. Focus groups. Competitions. Latest camera gear & Trade show. Xposure International Photography Festival in Sharjah, UAE is unlike any other and if you care about photography even a tiny bit, you can’t afford to miss it.

Once again, and for the 8th time consecutively, I’m deeply honored to be among the ranks of the invited photographers from all over the world to admire their works, exchange stories and experience, to learn something new. The storytellers, art curators, directors, brave photojournalists, travellers and adventurers, animal rights activits and dreamers with or withour their cameras. They are all going to be in the UAE’s Sharjah Emirate for a week, in an event which will be covered by the global media, starting on the 9th February 2023.

MY PHOTO EXHIBITION

I will have several engagements and showings at this year’s Xposure. The one I’m most proud and excited about is my photo exhibition, titled “13 Cities”. As the name implies, I will be exhibiting photographs of the 13 cities, captured around the world over the course of the past 7 years. The images are highly curated for their central theme and messages they carry. They will be presented as VERY LARGE panoramic prints, captured with ultra high-resolution medium-format cameras, and printed on the highest quality photographic paper available today. I can’t wait for you to see them! You are all invited to visit. I will be there most of the time to meet and chat with the visitors and prospect buyers.

THE WORKSHOP

On the 11th February, I will conduct a photography workshop aimed at beginners, intermediate and advanced photographers as well.

Titled “10 Things I Wish I Knew When I Started Photography” will cover just that; the priceless knowledge I gained during the 13 year period working as a professional architectural photographer based in the UAE and time-lapse artist who worked for the clients worldwide. I will talk about the things you will never learn in the school, read in the books or find on the internet. Battle stories. What really goes on behind the scenes. Real-world scenarios when dealing with the clients. Stuff that really matters if you’re a hobbyist or professional photographer. Save the pain of learning the hard way like I have and come to my workshop. It will probably save you some hard earned money too! So book your spot quickly, only a few seats are still left!

PANEL DISCUSSION: WEB3, NFT and AI in PHOTOGRAPHY

Unless you’ve been living under the rock in the past 12 months, you probably heard about the NFTs and the AI. Like it or not, a revolution is happening at an unprecedented speed and extent, promising to literally upend our lives as we know them. It’s not all doom and gloom though; there are many new opportunities for people as living with the new technology emerges and becomes our new reality.

You’re all invited to attend the panel discussion at the Stage-X on the 12th Feb, hosted by Richard Lackey from Fujifilm Middle East with Elia Locardi, Waleed Shah and myself. Panel description, location and the timing are in the link.

FILM SCREENING

Last but not least, my time-lapse film titled ‘25 Hertz’ will be shown at the main auditorium on the 14th February at 1:30 PM at the main auditorium. Please follow the link for details. Very excited about that too!

25 HERTZ

Because they offer a distinctive viewpoint on the passage of time and the movement of the world around us, time-lapse movies are captivating to watch. They reveal movements, patterns, and changes that are difficult to notice in real time. Time lapses can be hypnotic and overwhelming when first seen.

A visually beautiful 11-minute montage called "25 Hertz" showcases six of the best time-lapse films made by Beno Saradzic. The movie transports the audience into the wonder of beautiful cityscapes that are interlaced with the intricacy of our modern world. It is an immersive and fascinating journey into the deceivingly mundane world we built for ourselves.

This collection of time-lapse highlights from Beno's remarkable career shows off his exceptional talent, which was recorded with his own style and aesthetic vision.

See you at the XPOSURE 2023!!!
